- Background Knowledge. You have advantage on Investigation, Sleight of Hand or Insight checks made to spot or create inconsistencies in stories, documents, or disguises, whether yours or someone else’s.
- Set the Hook. During a long rest, you can prepare a simple scheme, plant forged documents, or rehearse a new alias. You can create a fake document, badge, or token of authority (e.g., forged contract, noble seal, guild medallion). Until your next long rest, you gain advantage on Deception and Persuasion checks made to pass yourself off as someone official or important.
