Locks are just puzzles, and you’ve always been good at puzzles. Whether you worked for a thieves’ guild, an underground resistance, or just yourself, you’ve opened doors that others swore were sealed forever.

Do you break into vaults, secrets, or hearts? What lock should you have never opened? Who taught you your first pick, and what did they make you steal?

  • Equipment: A set of common clothes, and 3 sets of thieves’ tools.
  • Tools & Languages. Thieves’ Tools
  • Backround Knowledge. You learn three additional languages of your choice. You have advantage on ability checks related to determining if a lock is trapped or not, and how hard it is to lockpick.
  • Hands of Precision. You can pick locks or disable traps in half the normal time. Once per long rest, when making a Dexterity check with thieves’ tools, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10. If a thieves’ tools check succeeds by 5 or more, you leave no trace or suspicion behind.
