Each plane is not a separate world, but a reflection (a projection) of the same landmass across layers of existence.
The world is made up of four interconnected planes, each with distinct rules, inhabitants, and layers. They align vertically in a great cosmic stack, and movement between them follows strict patterns. Every plane is Two-tiered, meaning there is a lower and upper level, and these levels are separated by real, physical monuments.
Highplane (Felvilág)
- Upper Level – Elysium: Home of the gods themselves. Sacred and unreachable by mortals.
- Lower Level – Heaven: Realm of divine servants, demigods, and magical entities like genies.
- Races: Aasimar, celestials
- Nature: Radiant, orderly, filled with ethereal cities and flowing divine energy.
Midplane (Közvilág)
- Upper Level – Overland (Fennföld): The sunlit world of everyday life.
- Races: Humans, elves, dwarves, halflings, and other common folk.
- Geography: Forests, oceans, and civilizations under the sky.
- Lower Level – Underland (Lennföld): Not underground, but a physically lower plane beneath towering mountains and waterfalls.
- Races: Drow, Ithari, deep gnomes, other subterranean or twilight-dwelling beings.
- Nature: Eternal dusk; the sun never reaches this place, creating a world of twilight ecosystems and hidden cultures.
Feyplane (Feyvilág)
- Connection: Only links to the Midplane
- Upper Level – Feywild:
- Rulers: The Eladrin, ancient and powerful fey aristocrats.
- Nature: A land of eternal spring, where emotion and story shape the land. Time is fluid, and nothing is ever quite as it seems.
- Inhabitants:
- Animal-featured races such as Harengon, Aaracokra, Tabaxi
- Dryads, satyrs, hags, fey beasts, enchanted spirits
- Lower Level – Shadowfell:
- Nature: A haunting reflection of the Feywild and Midplane, draped in shadow and silence.
- Inhabitants:
- Shades, shadow creatures, spirits of sorrow, banshees, undead tied to forgotten emotions or lost memories
Lowplane (Alvilág)
- Upper Level – Hell:
- Inhabitants: Archdevils, devil lords, their armies, and mortal cultists.
- Nature: Structured, militaristic, with massive citadels and infernal politics.
- Conflict: The Archdevils are locked in endless war both with each other and the abyssal lower level.
- Lower Level – Abyss:
- Inhabitants: Demons, chaos beasts, eldritch abominations, discarded god-creations
- Nature: Chaotic, shifting, incomprehensible: this is the cosmic landfill, where failed divine experiments and primordial horrors fester.
Plane Travel
- Vertical Travel Only: You may only move one plane up or down at a time. No skipping layers.
- Fixed Portals: Ancient gates allow travel between adjacent planes. These are permanent but heavily guarded.
- Random Portals: Temporary and unreliable. They may open during magical surges, celestial events, or in cursed places. These are not trusted.
